The TRU-CLIMB floating ladder is available in GTC-1-* and GTC-2-* models, and is customized to meet your length requirements. The TRU-CLIMB is available either hinged at the top of the structure (GTC-1-*) or halfway up the ladder (GTC-2-*), depending on the access opening, such as long "chimney-shaped" structures (i.e. manhole entrances). The choice of TRU-CLIMB model is based solely on the length required and the type of opening. Units are currently marked with an asterisk due to the wide variety of model length options.
The TRU-CLIMB floating ladder is a stainless steel wall ladder anchored directly to the wall of the structure. The TRU-CLIMB floats above the surface of the water to prevent the accumulation of debris, using a cylindrical float. When the water recedes, the TRU-CLIMB descends into the opening and is ready for use. The rungs are made of perforated/extruded stainless steel plates for better grip.
The TRU-CLIMB floating ladder can be combined with the SURE-CLIMB safety handle for optimum entry assistance. In this case, the SURE-CLIMB is designed as an integral part of the TRU-CLIMB.
