Le GAS-S-30-* est con\u00e7u pour une profondeur d&rsquo;\u00e9coulement de 12 pouces (30 cm) et mesure jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 un maximum de 13 pieds (4 m) de longueur. Le GAS-S-90-* est con\u00e7u pour une profondeur d&rsquo;\u00e9coulement de 36 pouces (90 cm) et mesure jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 un maximum de 13 pieds (4 m) de longueur. La s\u00e9lection du mod\u00e8le de l&rsquo;ACU-SELF est bas\u00e9e uniquement sur la profondeur d&rsquo;\u00e9coulement et la largeur du canal ou la longueur du d\u00e9versoir. En position de repos, l&rsquo;ACU-SELF pend sous l&rsquo;effet de son propre poids, emp\u00eachant ainsi les d\u00e9bris d&rsquo;atteindre le trop-plein. Lorsque le d\u00e9flecteur est immerg\u00e9 \u00e0 plus de la moiti\u00e9, il pivote vers le haut et s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve avec la mont\u00e9e du niveau de l\u2019eau. Les objets flottants se d\u00e9placent vers le haut simultan\u00e9ment avec le niveau de l&rsquo;eau. En raison de cet effet de retenue unique, les mati\u00e8res flottantes ne peuvent pas atteindre la zone situ\u00e9e entre le d\u00e9flecteur et le d\u00e9versoir et sont dirig\u00e9es vers la station d&rsquo;\u00e9puration des eaux us\u00e9es pour les applications CSO et SSO. Dans le cas d\u2019applications d\u2019eaux pluviales, les d\u00e9bris sont retenus dans le canal pour \u00eatre \u00e9vacu\u00e9s apr\u00e8s une temp\u00eate. Cette op\u00e9ration unique garantit une r\u00e9tention maximale des \u00e9l\u00e9ments flottants.
